SIMULATOR Thales Employee Share Purchase Plan

The purpose of this simulator is to help you choose how you will invest your money.

It allows you to calculate your potential profit in five years based on your hypothetical changes in the Thales share price.

Be careful, this simulator does not take into account taxation (or euro/local currency exchange rate fluctuations during the lock-up period for countries outside the euro zone).  Also, it does not take into account the possible reduction in the number of shares allocated in the event of over-subscription.

Choose the simulator that applies to you:

- Choose your language

- Choose your country

The simulator only works for the formulas with FCPEs.  It does not work for the formulas that are available only in Germany.

Warning

The figures that appear by default in the simulator, as well as the results of any simulations you might carry out, are in no way guaranteed or binding upon Thales.

This software was created for educational purposes and the results obtained are not the only information to be used by employees in making their choices.

Instructions

- Indicating your investment choice

Enter your hypothetical share price before discount (or the price before discount once it is known).

The subscription price with the 20% discount appears automatically.

Enter your gross annual remuneration.

A – If you are in France, enter the payments you already made in 2002 to the Thales GSP or other CSPs, if any.

B- The simulator automatically calculates your maximum possible subscription (less than or equal to 25% of your gross annual remuneration) under either the Classic formula or the Leveraged formula (if you are investing under only one formula).

Choose how you want to allocate your personal contribution between the two formulas and the two methods of payment.

C – Enter the personal contribution you have decided to make under the Classic formula (minimum of 120 euros), and then under the Leveraged formula (minimum of 120 euros).

The simulator automatically calculates your maximum possible investment under the second formula based on your investment under the first, as well as the number of corresponding shares.

D – Choose your method of payment for each formula (in the event of payment in instalments over 12 months, the simulator gives you the amount of each monthly payment).

Simulating your potential profit upon maturity:

Enter your hypothetical increase in the Thales share price, as a percentage.  By default, a 30% increase is suggested (this percentage cannot be below – 99%;  there is no limit to how high the percentage can be).

The simulator gives you the amount of your assets upon maturity and the variation as a percentage (gross, not including taxes), for each of the formulas (not including dividends for the Classic formula).

For the Leveraged formula, the simulator also indicates the number of shares that will be reinvested under the Classic formula if you choose this option upon maturity.
