3. Who are the share custodians for my shares?

   This varies from country to country (please ask your local association)

4. How can I find out how many Thales shares I own?

   By asking the trustee/custodian for your country

5. What is the position regarding taxation on dividends and capital gains?

   This will vary from country to country and factual help should be sought from your tax adviser and Thales' tax adviser (in need please speak to your employee shareholder association representative).

6. How often are dividends paid and what is Thales' dividend record?

   Thales has in the past paid an annual dividend (its dividend record is referred to in the annual report, which is available here.

7. Can I recover all or part of the French with-holding tax on the dividends from my 1998 and 2000 shares?

   Where there is a risk of double taxation, your national trustee/custodian may be in a position to help you recover all or part of the French withholding tax (please speak to your national representative).
